Our son is on the autism spectrum and has many anxieties. These anxieties were so bad when he was younger that he had to be sedated once a year to get his teeth cleaned. We knew that getting braces would be a huge challenge for him but after meeting with Dr. Dickens and his team, we decided to move forward. Today our son got his braces removed after wearing them for 18 months. and we could not be happier with the results. Sharon worked with our son the entire way and she was amazing! He needed more time and he needed explanations repeated but Sharon, Dr. Dickens and Dr. Starr were amazingly patient with him. I highly recommend Starr & Dickens. Our son loves them too, which says a lot!
